 dBase with Pervasive?
Databases associated with Sage/Peachtree are dbase, it seems. A database folder containing DBF files, along with CDX is the database which I can connect to by way of Microsoft's DBASE driver--except some tables are NOT IN THE EXPECTED FORMAT.

Apparently, something similar can be done with Pervasive software. When I look into using Pervasive software instead of Microsoft's DBASE driver, I find references to DDF files and NO references to DBF files. Can Pervasive software work with DBASE - also know as FoxPro databases?

Software/Hardware used:
Microsoft ODBC

Answer Wiki:
Hello zowdude,

I would imagine the issue is with the driver that is being used.  The Microsoft ODBC driver is level 5.0 dbf files.  Most likely the dbf's are level 7 drivers.  To access those dbf files you will need a copy of dBase.

Hope this helps,

Mike
