Using UPDDTA, you can delete records. Give like this, UPDDTA filename Now Press PageDown key, you can see the PF Records one by one. Then go to the specific Record and Press <b>Shift+F11(that is F23)</b>, it will ask for conformation and do it again to Delete. Using this you can delete only one record at a time. Surey...

Interesting. F23=Delete a record isn’t listed in the screen footer, but is listed in the Function Keys – Help – as are a couple of other function keys not shown.

I never thought of deleting using UPDDTA but F23 really works.
