I'm new to DB2 Web Query. Just starting with the product. In metadata, I'm trying to pull in a DB2 SQL derived Table. I keep getting an error FOC1567. *LOCAL, <create synonym>, Table <only>, library / filename Error FOC1567 Create Synonym Data Source 'StockKeepingUnit' is not unique The KEY on the StockKkeepingUnit Table is a SKUID and this SKUID is unique. There are INDEXES associated and some of them show <noy unique> in iSeries Navigator. Not sure if that is contributing to the complaint. Not sure how to handle this error. Has me baffled.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Sorry I did not answer this sooner but just stumbled upon this forum.

Regarding the message:
(FOC1567) CREATE SYNONYM: DATASOURCE ‘TB_USER_RQ_INFO’ IS NOT UNIQUE

Its nothing to do with whether or not its a a Unique index – its the NAME of the index that is not unique. So say you have an index named this:
USER_RATEQUOTE_INFO

If you look under System i Navigator in the list of constraints in your schema, I bet you have a constraint with the same name:
USER_RATEQUOTE_INFO

Rename either one and the problem goes away.
