 db2 to excel
DB2/400, Exporting AS/400 to Excel, Microsoft Excel
i was tryin to import from db2/400 into excel but when i did. the description came up in a different language...in db2/400 the description was in araic then when i imported in excel it came up a different language?? any idea plz help  thank you

I’m pretty sure it didn’t come up in a different language. However, it’s quite possible that it came up in a different alphabet.

What languages are installed on the PC? What region is the PC configured for? What languages are installed in your AS/400? What CCSID is the DB2 table and column in? What is the AS/400 QCCSID system value?

No problem, Phil. Sometimes it takes multiple requests. Maybe it increases credibility when two people ask for similar info. I get concerned at times, though, thinking that these discussion questions don’t get seen because they’re at the bottom.
