Hi all - Well hopefully your changes went better than mine did. Some Servers and desktops that didn't pickup the correct time and the Exchange appointment time changes did not go well here - but other than that, things seem ok now. Some questions have been raised on this issue. Mainly 2 things: 1. What is going to happen in april when the old DST time comes up (I realize that with all the systems "thinking" they know when DST is that they should be ok - but instead of coming in and having lots to deal with, I thought I would ask the wisdom here for thoughts.) 2. What is going to happen in November? Is there going to be issues with Outlook appointments here too? or will it all be ok now that it's been updated - I really don't want to havet to change all the appoinments again so I would like to make sure I'm all ready for that event when it comes. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Lirria

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

April should be fine, also November, as you have paid the Microsoft convenience tax. Those of us using Linux, BSD, et Al. live in a UTC world and did not have to deal with the change at the servers. Workstations were a one line change in the login script. Collaboration software always has its cost in labor behind the scene.

That's good to know ;) After dealing with the fallout from DST it's nice to know that I hopefully won't have any issues coming up to surprise me (ok other than the usual...) Thanks! Lirria
