 AS/400 data transfer version 1.2 or 2.0
AS/400 data transfer, Client Access Express, Exporting AS/400 to Excel
i have 2 different datatransfer files to get data from an AS/400 to excel. one is version 1.2 and the other has version 2.0 in the description what is the difference, cause i now got an other version of client access installed and the 1.2 version is not working anymore

we use WInXP SP3 on the pc's, Client access version V5R3M0 SI30707, on AS/400 version 5 of the OS is used.

Where are you seeing the “description”?

What Windows OS are you running? What OS version/release is on your AS/400? What version of Excel are you running?

My oldest data transfer is for V5R4. I’m not at all sure what “1.2″ or “2.0″ would be.
