Hello all .. I am doing an Internship with a company in Nashville that does community branding. Recently I received a project to design a database which would house all of the information that we would need to show to potential clients to gain their business. Such as particular information about different years growth statistics before and after working with our company. They have requested that the database be easily updatable and produce good reports. I was wondering if I need a database at all? Also which database would be the best for handling a project like this?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Honestly a database probably isn’t needed here. The data you will be dealing with is probably fairly small and already summarized. What will probably serve you best will be an Excel sheet which will more easily allow you to create graphs against the data than a database would.
