Hi, I have created a database and created a query with some fields from my main table. Now I would like to add more fields but I can't any hint? When I go into my design mode those new fields do not apper?

Hi,

Are you trying to add more fields to the query or the table? If it’s the table then make sure it’s not a link table and you have to close and re-open the query in design view to show the new fields. If it’s the query, how exactly are you trying to add the fields, in design, sql, ect?

    Yes, just to echo Dustin’s comment. If you are planning to add new fields to the table then: 1) Close the query 2) Open the Table & add new fields 3) Now open the Query in Design mode & you should be able to see & select the new fields that you have added to the table. 4) If still no luck – then a start a new query in Design mode, select the Table – hopefully you will see all the Table fields Note: Be aware that Access 2007 may have many windows open at one time. You may ensure that All Access Objects flag is checked. You may be able to see various open windows by looking at the Tabs under the Home Tab.
