Storage in 2010
I have been storing data on a removable device (flash disk) for a bit of time. Currently once I plug in the removable device to any of our PC's the VDU is showing only a number of data while some data are not viewable, but now on the plug & play for the device it is registering that the files are still stored in the device.

I suggested it could be a virus, and have several times scanned with an updated Norton Antivirus Software, but its not resolving the situation.

What could be the possible cause and how would I resolve it.

Thanks.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

May be corruption or even file permissions. Copy all the data off the flash drive and re-format it. Then copy the files back.
