 Data Recovery from hard disk
hi, I have one 40 GB IDE harddisk. it's burn. now when i try on switch on my pc. it's get shut done. but my pc is working with other HD. I have some imp. data hard drive. my question is that if i remove data disk (metal plate)from HD. and put that on other one will i able to get the data back??? Thanks

Opening a hard drive and moving the disks to another drive needs to be done is a dust proof room. The drive enclosure needs to be of the same manufacturer and model too. Data recover tasks like that are expensive if you ask any data recovery expert.
