Data Guard implementation for Oracle 10gR2
VMware, Windows Server 2003, Dataguard
I am making a standby database for dataguard on 10.2.0(windows 2003 VmWare) following this tutorial. I am confused about the standby database creation. I successfully configured the PD with these steps, but I simply ran the oradim command for the standby databae creation then mounted the database using pfile. What do I have to do to edit the pfile according to the steps to set up the standby database?
