While viewing the streamfile, you can press &lt;F10=Display Hex&gt;. (You can also use the DMP command to dump a streamfile to a spooled file, but this can create a lot of output for a large streamfile.)

The hexadecimal output can show you exactly what character is being used for a delimiter.
