Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

This program allows you to delete those stuck files respond to delete attempts with errors like “File in use” or just won’t delete for some unknown reason. I usually set them to delete on restart, but there are MANY options and it has saved my butt more than once.
Good Luck!

Schedule a time (you need a dedicated system), and run RCLSTG from the console. I recommend doing this ASAP, as there may be more problems, that are currently hidden, but will not be hidden for much longer. This command will end with a report and objects are moved to lib QRCL were you can delete it.

I have tried RCLSTG…. RCLSTG doesn't have much to do with damaged objects, so there wasn't much use in trying it. It probably was a significant waste of time. And I'm not sure what was meant by STRSST to do a special IPL….. SST and IPLs don't have much, if anything, to do with each other that I'm aware of. Regardless, after a normal IPL was the object available for delete? If not, can you use MOVOBJ to move the object to a new library? If so, can you then delete the library? If not, can you move the object to QTEMP? Tom
