 Damaged File In Save Operations
I have a file that is damaged, therefore, it will not save during my nightly backups. The file is QASZRAIRD in library QUSRSYS. Does anyone know what this file is used for or how I can find out what this file is used for? Can I delete the file and re-create the file, or will that cause more of a headache than I want? Since this file is damaged, if I run RCLSTG and it deletes the file, what side affects may be caused?

Answer Wiki:
I could only find three references to this file -- they all dealt with having a secondary language installed (and doing an upgrade) or installing a secondary langauge. If you've got a SupportLine contract, I would open a PMR with IBM. They should be able to guide you through recovering the file.

Thanks for your help. I called IBM. They sent me the procedures to fix the problem. I am still a little fuzzy on what they said the file dealt with specifically, but it has to deal with PTF tranfers with Management Central. At least that is what IBM support told me. Anyways, they sent me some documentation on how to fix the problem. Again, thanks for the help.
