 D-link des3526 switch configuration, can only ping one of two servers.
Port assigned for vlan1 is 1 to 25, port assigned for vlan2 is 26. I could ping gateway or browse  internet from vlan1. But from vlan2 I can not ping or browse.

When you set up VLANs you are basically splitting the switch in two. If you want VLAN2 to communicate with VLAN1, you need to plug your gateway into VLAN2 as well. There is a couple of ways you can do this. Assign a new port on your Gateway, assign it an IP that exists in VLAN2's ip rande and plug it into the switch and assign that port to VLAN2. Or, you could set up a trunk port on your switch to your core router. Then you would need be to able to setup your gateway as a trunk with vlans on it. That is the only way to get VLAN2 to talk to the gateway until you move it into VLAN1 Ryan Gunther www.onlinetech.com
