Hi Tom, Sorry for late response. It was a problem with Version. Now we have installed V6R1 for users and he is able to transfer files. Thanks.

Iseries access version on windows – 5.7

For future use, there is no version “5.7″. I’d guess that that is the version of the emulator component.

To find the iSeries Access version and its service level, navigate Start-> Programs-> iSeries Access for Windows-> Properties. The Properties page shows both product version and service level. I would expect it to be V5R3. but the service level may be important to know for a problem like this one.

Server Os version – V5R3M0PC OS – Windows 2007PC Iseries access version on windows – 5.7He changed Server and windows password and restarted the system as well.He is the domain user.

What OS version is on the server? What OS is on the PC? What is the iSeries Access version on the PC, and what is its service level? Which password was changed? Was a connection re-established after the password change? Was the PC restarted after the password change? Is the user a domain user? Some general details about the problem environment would be helpful. — Tom
