 Custom Ubuntu disk with applications for corporate recovery disks

Can I make a custom Ubuntu disk with the applications I need to distribute as corporate recovery disks? It can have an application for our VPN so they can connect to OWA remotely even if their system is offline. They have Windows 7 on their laptops.

Remastersys may do what you want…but…are you talking about wanting to use the disk to restore the Windows 7 on their systems? That could be done with Ubuntu…but it would perhaps be more of a manual task to script. That’s over my head, sorry!

I think this is more like creating a ubuntu based distribution.
This way you can put all the software you need on the disk and the users can boot with it in a livecd mode and connect to your network without changing their current operating systems.
