It has shown to be so unpredictable that IBM actually removed “*ELIGIBLE” from the command’s CHOICE() attribute in order to obscure it. And RCLRSC shouldn’t be run outside of an OPM environment in the default activation group.

Has ENDHOSTSVR *DATABASE ENDACTCNN(*DATABASE) been tried? Of course, STRHOSTSVR *DATABASE would need to be run afterwards.
