You should run Spybot which should get rid of the rest.

If you are referring to a free and complete feature of the Malware Antivirus 2009, you don’t have a choice but to purchase its license. Any antivirus or antimalware software are best effective when they are used in their full licensed mode.

Over the weekend I found what might be a better way to deal with AntiVirus 2009. 1. Use AVG's Anti-root kit availble here. 2. Then use File assassin to delete the "Antivirus 2009" files from the program files directory. You have to remove them one at a time with this program. 3. Then run Spybot. Good Luck! -Flame

Not sure what you mean by "cure" but one important thing is to make sure you tell everyone in your organization about it. Users will undoubtedly be prompted with it one day so the last thing you'll want them to do is self-diagnose. I've found that during an attempted infection you literally have to kill your browser process because trying to close the windows it presents is futile. So, get the word out now before it becomes (another) issue.

I used Bleeping computer.com from above. This cured the problem. Spybot was virually useless AVG missed it even after updates. Thanks for the help.John
