 cube data fails to display
SQL Analysis Manager
Working through the Foodmart 2000 sample sales cube in SQL Analysis Manager, all goes smoothly but at the end data does not display. The error message is "unspecified error", unable to browse the cube. This is the Sales cube created with the Quickstart example on Foodmart 2000.mdb.

Since my test cube data failed to display when I built it from the sample database which drew from an Access mdb, I tried the same process against some tables from SQL. The new data source connection was straight forward and the cube wizard worked fine including the processing. Finally however the cube fails to browse data and produces the same "unable to browse the cube .. unspecified error". This is the same error that results with the sample cube working against an mdb. The test bed is sql 2003 server with no service paks installed. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY CLUES.
