 Crystal Reports VII, viewing data while using select expert

Sorry if this duplicated, I thought I posted this but I can't find it anywhere here goes

I created a report with crystal 7 and I using the select expert  for a particular field/table. When I use the expert the drop drown menu does show me every thing in the table. Is there a limit to how many choices the drop menu can show?
