I am running a citrix server metaframe 1.8 with windows 2000 server and i am trying to install Crystall 8.5 on it. When I crystal on this server and try to run a report with a date and time formula it says "The remaining text does not appear to be part of the formula". Here is the code that i am running DTSToDATETIME(picture({WorkOrder.WorkOrderClosedDate},"XXXX,XX,XX,XX,XX,XX")). I can install crystal on a computer with the same cd and the same way and the report will run fine. Can anyone help is there some type of add in that i need to install. I have searched all over the internet and have not found a solution.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

This message indicates that a quote mark or some other control indicator is missing (or misplaced) in the formula. If you are sure that the formula strings are identical on each system, check the LOCALE information, such as using periods as thousands separators instead of commas (this is the European style, for example). There may be places both in the Crystal Reports options list and in the operating system of the new server where this information is kept.

Good luck

Phil
