crystal reports in delphi


Crystal Reports, Delphi, Delphi 5

I'm upgrading an application from Delphi3 to Delphi5. Now I want to upgrade the crystal reports. what i have to do to upgrade the same?? currently i'm getting 'Crystal reports can not connect to the database ' error when i try to run reports. please help me. Thanks in advance.

The Delphi upgrade may have changed your data source names. You will find your data sources in the administrative tools in the control panel. You could start by checking the Data Sources (ODBC) in this control panel More info is Here. This pagegives a good overview of the process.

Hi,

Thanks for your help. I checked the datasource name. it is not getting changed. it is connected to the corresponding DSN.

What i have to do other than this ? any new dll required ?

hi,
i installed crystal report and tried to run the application.
am able to connect crystal report to the database. and didn’t get any error. I can’t implement it since this is not a desirable solution. how to proceed further. please help out on this.
