Hi, I hope that someone can help me. We are currently replacing a system with a new version and as such we are building a new SQL DB. Although the two DBs store the same information they don't share a common layout. I have created a basic report to see if the record count for a certain select criteria matches. I have two DBs, DB1 & DB2. Each have a 'Device' table. The only common field in these two tables is called 'Rack Name'. I've created a report which links the two tables on this field and reports (using a count summary) the number of records in each DB where the 'Rack name' field is a set value (grouped by rack name). e.g. 4 records in each DB have the value of 'H0-03-03'. For some reason 16 records are being returned from each DB (4 sets of 4). I then have another 'Rack name' with 32 records. 1024 records are being returned. I hope that I have explained this well enough. Please help. Simon
