 Crystal Reports 8.5 Cannot insert Field or Text Objects
Crystal Reports 8.5, Crystal Reports error messages, Crystal Reports Errors, Oracle 10, Windows XP
I have been using 8.5 for years without any problem. Recently I have been unable to create any new reports. I am not allowed to insert any field or text objects. I am also unable to modify any of the existing thousands of reports. I have reinstalled a number of times. It will work for a few objects and then the problem reoccurs.

Software/Hardware used:
Crytal 8.5, XP, Oracle 10

i am having the same problem. I am new to Crystal reports and my first task at work was to modify an existing report. Does anyone know of a way that I can narrow down the problem? I am a total n00b.

Have you tried modifying the reports from a different machine ?
It could be an operating system issue.
