Use DSPUSRPRF and look at the values of other profiles on your system to see what are the similarities and differences.
Then fo CRTUSRPRF and do F4. Then for any value you do not understand, place the cursor there and do F1 to get information.

If you live outside the United States, by submitting your email address you consent to having your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.
A User profile also potentially maps a user with many other objects which you may or may not be implenting in your organization: They are: Output queues, printers, security group.
You must have a clear idea of who this user is and where they fit in the organization.
Also, depending on what software is installed on your AS400 you may need to give them access to Office 400 or other third party software.
If you just new another user like someone, you can use WRKUSRPRF, find someone and copy the profile. As mentioned, be aware of security considerations.

IMHO, the best place to create a user profile is iSeries Navigator. The options are more readable tham the codes you enter in green screen.
You may not have the authority to create a user profile and if that is the case you will have to get someone that is authorized to create it.
