We are a consumer goods company operating R3 & CRM 3 and looking to implement a hand held mobile workforce solution. We are trying to decide whether to use Mobile CRM 4.0 or integrate with a third party customised mobility sales solution.
Does anyone have any evaluations on the advantages and disadvantages of implementing CRM 4 compared with a customised sales application built in dot NET for example?
Any information or experience in any of the following would be much appreciated:
Any problems with CRM 4.0, specifically mobile sales
Problems integrating a custom application with R3/CRM
Advantages of custom applications for mobile sales over CRM 4.0
Any case studies or experience supporting either side of CRM 4.0 and custom applications would be greatly appreciated.
We are looking for strong functionality in mobile sales, scheduling, auditing and reporting, so any advice, assistance or direction will be of help.
