Could somebody please help me.
I am creating a website resource for a teaching course. The site is to be distributed amongst pupils on USB drives for use on their PC and Mac computers.
I can copy the website SITE folder+assets to each drive, however currently in order to open the HOME.html file the pupil must navigate into the SITE folder and pick from between dozens of HTML files. This is ugly + confusing to some people=/ I would like to create a shortcut to the HOME.html file that sits on the USB drive, so that the pupils only have one click to open the site. This is problematic however as shortcuts/aliases break on USB drives when they are moved between computers. I also need this solution to be cross platform.
It seems like a simple problem but i can't find the solution. Could somebody please help!=]
