Creating shortcut commands in AS/400

Hi, I want to create a shortcut command for wrkmbrpdm command in my AS/400 platform. i have done like this: 1. wrkmbrpdm libraryname/member name 2. Shift F4 3. Created a user - defined function (as w1 for wrkmbrpdm) But an error throws w1 not found in *libl . Please somebody can help me out on this. Thanks

Look after creating User Defined Command you should add  DBUK library in your library list then use that command it will work.

    Creating user defined functions in PDM. When creating them will only work in PDM. The file holding them is listed on top of the "Work with User-Defined Options' (QUAOOPT file mostly). There are substitution parameters for different elements. You can see those when pressing F1 when defining or altering a user defined option. You should also have a look at "Selective Prompting". A good setup of User defined options in PDM can help you accomplish repetitive stuff very fast and easy.
