 Creating PDF for Arabic code page 420
I am creating PDF files with CVTSPL2PDF and it works fine.
Howoever I now need to create a PDF file for arabic Code Page 420

but i can't (Important characters in creating a PDF file)

How do I get around this? Is there a way to specify in the PDF file that on AS400 to add code 420 

also i try to change text conversion on netserver to code page but file not opened after move it to pc please your advice

Answer Wiki:
CVTSPL2PDF is not an IBM command.
Someone in your company either wrote it, downloaded it, brought it from a previous employer, or purchased a package that has it.
You are going to have to find the source code to make any changes.

I think the problem not in spool conversion since i can see arabic characters on AS400 using wrklnk on directory and i think the problem with transfer PDF from AS400 to PC i use FTP and Netservere (navigator) but the arabic characters not appear and when i change CCSID on FTP connection [quote type c 420] the PDF file on PC not open, please advice

If you simply drag/drop the original spooled file to your PC with iSeries Navigator, does it show as Arabic in the PC file?

If you run the Qshell catsplf command against the original spooled file, does the resulting streamfile show appropriate Arabic characters?
