Creating or editing appointments in outlook 2003 problem
I have a user who is on a XP pro machine with sp3 using office 2003 with sp3. For the second time in two months when trying to create or edit an appointment in his calendar either by double clicking in the calendar or by clicking the New calendar button nothing happens. To clear up this issue I have already reinstalled office and that fixed the issue for about a month then it reappeared, I've tried clearing the cache in forms manager and that didn't work, ran detect and repair that didn't work, checked the disabled items and there wasn't anything there, the last thing I did was clear out his entire calendar by deleting his offline files, it seems to be working now but I had to restore his calendar items. Anyone have any idea of what can be done in the future to stop this problem from reoccurring?

Answer Wiki:
Try running outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy switch next time and see if the issue clears. Close outlook, go to start, run, type this in the "open" field.
