Creating a new user – missing NSF file
I have just tried to setup a new user in Domino Administrator 7.0.2 and all seemed to go smoothly except it did not create a mail/username.nsf file. I have created dozens of new users before with no error but I can no longer create any with an nsf file. It creates the ID ok? Any advise would be appreciated. Andydb

Answer Wiki:
If you created the user via the Domino Administrator and chose to have the mail file created in the background then there should be an entry in the ADMIN4.nsf database for that user name. View Administration Requests from the Server > Analysis tab and verify that the Create Mailfile transaction was processed. If not, then check to make sure that your server is running the ADMINP add-in task. Bone up on AdminP using the Domino Administrator Help.

what does log.nsf say? Any access problems reported? Are you sure you chose the correct admin server before signing into the cert id? Just throwing out ideas.

Have you checked your local machine to see if the mail file ended up on your machine?
