If the Domino address book is to be used by more than one person on their Blackberry then you cannot use the methods that are being stated. The Blackberry cannot use a local address book.

What needs to be done is this.... Create on the Domino server a database using the pubnames.nft as the template (this will create a Domino Directory). Call it someonthing like CITY1.nsf and set the ACL so Notes admin and Tom and Add/Modify/delete users.

Then you need to set up and directory assistance database. Basically another DB called DA.nsf (to keep it simple) . Then open the Directory assistance and create a new directory assistance document. You can either paste in a directory link into the document at the top or put in the server/s and the database location and name/ Keep all the filters to * and this should then be ready to save and close.

The onlt thing left to do is add the DA.nsf inot the server document under Directory Assistance database field (halfway down basic tab). Now you can either wait for the server to refresh or restart to be quicker.

Once the server has picked up the Directory assistance config there will be another address book showing under the domino directory in the admin client under people and groups. This should mean that all users with Blackberry's can search and use both address books.

I hope this is what you are after?
