Create a shortcut to a Public Folder in Outlook 2007
I have created a public contact folder for the whole organization. However; the boss does not want to travel all the way down to the public folders to find theĀ  Business Contact folder. How can I create a shortcut on the toolbar to open this folder.

Any hints or help are greatly appreciated.

Answer Wiki:
Start Outlook, resize this window so that can see on desktop. In public folder List pane or on the Outlook Shortcut Bar, right-click the Outlook folder for which want to create a shortcut, and then drag the folder to desktop. Remember, If u do not see List pane, click folder list on View menu. On next DB, select any one as ur wish.... * Copy Here * Move Here * Create Active Desktop shortcut here OR, Drag the folder to the Public Folder Favorites folder and it will then appear when choose the Contacts view. Thanks--

Another quick way he can do is right-click the contact public folder and choose “add to favorites”. Then when he clicks the contacts icon on the bottom left in Outlook the public folder contacts will show there.
