CPYFRMIMPF – CSV to flat file. Getting all blank records.

All records in the flat file are blank when performing a cpyfrmimpf.  Copy file command is listed below.  DTAFMT is *DLM, FLDDLM is ','  A sample from the file in IFS is listed below.  What am I missing.  CCSID of file in IFS is 1252.

    CPYFRMIMPF – CSV to flat file.

    Since you're using CPYFRMIMPF and trying to copy into a "flat" file, I'm not sure what you expect to happen. Running that command to a "flat" file usually doesn't make much sense.

    Please describe what you want to see for output.

    CPYFRMIMPF can move the stream file to a file with fields based on field delimiters.

    to copy to a flat file .. perhaps CPYFRMSTMF would be more useful.
