It all depends on the motherboard.  Here is a suggestion:  find out what type of motherboard you have and you can either Google it or call a tech shop and ask them if the motherboard is capable of the upgrade.  Making the call would be your safer bet.

    If you have to ask, probably not. But there's no way anyone is going to know without at least knowing what motherboard is in it. Your best direction is probably to ask Dell. -- Tom
