My personal opinion... Your AS/400 shouldn't be a master browser. CPU and any other system resources are too expensive to put them to work doing this. Use a far cheaper PC and its memory, its CPU, its network adapter, etc., for this kind of work.

The most common setting that I've seen that is easily changed is the NetServer 'Logon server role'. Set the role to [*NONE] if it is set to anything else.
With iSeries Navigator, drill down to NetServer Properties. On the General tab, click [Next start] button. Select [*NONE] from the drop-down list box. Click [Ok] back out to the iNav list of TCP/IP servers.
Right-click NetServer and select [Stop], followed by [Reset and Start].
Unfortunately, this in only appropriate if you don'y really want NetServer acting as your network logon server.
If you
do want it to be the logon server for the domain, then you probably need to look at the conflicting device.
