CPIB687 conflicting announcement for domain
In Qsysopr we get a CPIB687 message reason code 3. It references a conflict announcement for the domain that it is in along with our AS400. WE know how to disable the master browser settings on windows clients. This is a MAC client and we do not know how to disable it. IBM set we can change our AS400 netserver from being the master broswer. Is that the way to go or do you know how to disable the MAC from being a measter browser?

The most common setting that I've seen that is easily changed is the NetServer 'Logon server role'. Set the role to [*NONE] if it is set to anything else.
With iSeries Navigator, drill down to NetServer Properties. On the General tab, click [Next start] button. Select [*NONE] from the drop-down list box. Click [Ok] back out to the iNav list of TCP/IP servers.
Right-click NetServer and select [Stop], followed by [Reset and Start].
Unfortunately, this in only appropriate if you don'y really want NetServer acting as your network logon server.
If you do want it to be the logon server for the domain, then you probably need to look at the conflicting device.
