Hi,

when i am using a the CPYFRMQRYF command am getting the error message error writing to member &3 in file &1(with the message ID CPF2972).

Could you please advice as how i can overcome this?

Joking aside, CharlieBrown is right – check the joblog. It will provide you with the reason the CPYFRMQRYF is failing.

Yes. The advice is that you should follow the instructions in the message.

Perhaps you need to understand that when a message is displayed by the system, you can move your cursor to the message text and press the <F1> key. That will bring the full message up for you to read.
