Why does my COUNTIF for the middle tow not come up with the right counts?

The first on and last one are OK, but they only have one condition.

=COUNTIF(D6:D38,"<30") ' -- OK

=COUNTIF(D6:D38,"<60")-COUNTIF(D6:D38,">29") ' -- counts double?

=COUNTIF(D6:D38,"<=89")-COUNTIF(D6:D38,">=60") ' -- counts double?

=COUNTIF(D:D,">90") ' -- OK

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

They are in each cell.

So 4 cells has each

=COUNTIF(J2:J34,”<60″) – COUNTIF(J2:J34,”<=29″)

• It's hard to tell without looking at the actual data and the results you are getting. I would put each COUNTIF in a separate cell to see if they give the correct result individually.
