Hi,

I could not able to print space between two record formats in AS/400. Tried my luck by defining one extra record format in printer file with balnk space and writen this format between two writes but its not working. Any help appreciated.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You should be putting the
SPACEA(2)
after the last field of the first record so it will advance two lines
or you could put the SPACEB(2) on the next format at the record level (before the first field) to skip twice before print that line.

Without knowing how you're doing the printing nor how you determined the spacing isn't working, we can't make useful guesses. If you're printing with printf(), for example, then SPACEA and SPACEB won't be any use at all. And if you're checking your spacing by viewing the spooled file in a telnet session, you might not even have determined if your spacing is working. Give us some source code to review and describe what is happening. Tom
