When you say “Windows does not allow me to log on, do you mean that you cannot log into the Computer, The internet, or Outlook express? If windows is not allowing you to log onto your computer, try restarting in safe mode (Press F8 as the computer is booting up) and see if you can log in and access outlook express from there.
Check here for an outlook express repair kit, once you get into windows.
See if anyone else has a better idea before you try this one. A more heavy handed approach would be: If you boot up in safe mode, with network services, you might be able to download a new copy of internet explorer (Outlook express is part of that download). You might lose any e-mail you currently have though.
Good Luck!

It sounds to me that you have a corrupted profile, not just an Outlook Express acount.

If this is the case, you will need to log in administratively, create a new profile, and then transfer files and settings over.

A file too big in any mail client should not do what you are saying Outlook Express has done.

Hope this helps!

I agree with Schmidtw. I don't think this happened because of a big file sent with Outlook express. Something else must have occurred. I would also recommend to check the machine for viruses when you get this log in problem solved.
