 Copying Test Cases from one Project to Another in QC
I am trying to copy test cases from one project to another in the same domain and it should work as I get questions about how I want to perform the copy, but when I try to execute I get an error. Has anyone had this problem?  Copying test cases between projects was introduced a long time ago.  We are on the latest version, however.

i tried this once i opened the QC form two different application (IE, qc explorer) and copy the folder where the test cases are and then switch to the other application and paste it :) Hi - when you copy test plans from one project to another you need to have all the same fields and same field type and size. If something is different form one project to another you will get an error message. The test plan module fiels(test under project entities )should be the same. hope this help.

Since your getting an error, you can try exporting your test cases from your current project via excel, then import the excel file into the project you want.

Quality Center cannot perform the current Copy/Paste operation;
The number/size of user-defined fields in the destination project does not match the number/size of user-defined fields in the source project.
The size of ‘TS_USER_02′ in the destination project is less than the size in the source project;
