Hi! I have a Java application that creates a CSV file in the hard disk (C:), and I need to copy it to an AS400, in its IFS. I created a folder in the IFS, named /myfolder. I use this command to create the file to the IFS: ifs = new IFSFileOutputStream(AS400System, fileName + ".csv"); But I receive the following error: GRAVE: An unknown problem has occurred. What can I do to fix this problem?? Thanks in advance, Meli

sorry, I forgot to tell you that I create the file this way: ifs = new IFSFileOutputStream(AS400System, path + fileName + ".csv"); where path = '/myfolder/'

Two questions.. 1. Do you have permission to create a file in that folder? 2. In the IFSFileOutputStream class, how did you specify the system you are connecting to? I think the "AS400System" parameter is of the class AS400? (I'm no Java expert) "Unknown" errors are no fun. You could try looking at your job log and see what is there (Subsystem QUSRWRK, it will be one of the QZDASOINIT jobs.) regards Mike
