This may sound like a strange issue but I can't copy any image from Microsoft Word to Google Docs. It's not appearing at all when I'm copying / pasting. And it breaks the style of the other text too. What's wrong here? I should be able to do this.

Limitations

According to Google Docs support, Google Docs Presentations do not support copying & pasting for text or images. Some browsers offer the option to allow clipboard access, but you’ll have to do so every time you open a new Google document or start a new browser session. You cannot use the keyboard shortcuts when using the Web Clipboard.

Also have read that it may not have access to the clipboard being the reason..

Simple drag/drop may help regarding this issue. However, you can try to paste image(s) through internet explorer. First open IE, then after success login in google docs, copy an image and then place the cursor where you want to be placed. In google docs', click edit menu & then click paste. When the window prompt opens, asking for access to the clipboard, select allow access. The image will be copied to the document.
