Cookies getting expired.

I create a cookies when user log into the system. These cookies store basic information like their unqiue ID. But for SAFARI, I think these cookies are getting expired and user either getting logged out or getting syntax erro in a sql query. How should I stop this from happening? PS: I have a code in ASP.

To handle cookies in Safari, u may proceed as given :

To change cookie preferences in safari :

1. Click Safari > Preferences
2. Click Security.
3. In the Accept Cookies section, choose how you want Safari to handle cookies. Click the Help (question mark) button to see an explanation of the options.
4. If you want to see more information about the cookies stored on your computer, click Show Cookies. The following information is displayed for each cookie:

a. Website that stored the cookie
b. Name
c. Path, or location, on your computer
d. Secure status, cookies marked “secure” are sent over an encrypted connection
e. Expiration date, when it will be removed from your computer
f. Content, normally a string of code
