Converting Excel Rich-Text data to SQL Server

I need to extract data from Excel forms and place the data into SQL Server tables. Some of the data is Rich-Text, some are attached pictures, while most is plain text. Any suggestions on how I can accomplish this? I assume that I'll need to use some VBA code to navigate the forms, extract the data there, and write it to SQL Server. However, I don't know how to preserve Excel text as rich text (including fonts, colors, sizes, etc.) or inserted pictures. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You’ll have to convert the input into a datastream and save it to the database. I did it in VB.NET but I don’t know if it’s possible the same way in VBA. However I found the need code on the Internet – don’t remember exactly where, but do a google search and you’ll probably find some relevant code to work with.
