Converted from a Twinax connection to TCP/IP on a Iseries/AS400. We are printing to a HP4100 attached to a network thru a RMTOUTQ (remote output queue)
We converted from a twinax connection to a TCP/IP connection on a Iseries/AS400. We have a HP-4100 connected to the network. After the conversion from twinax to TCP/IP. I attempted to print a manifest report from the Iseries/AS400 to the HP-4100 and the print shrunk from 13 CPI to 20 CPI. This makes the print too small for the user to read. I have read numerous IBM Software Technical Documents over the past few days and have not been able to find a clear cut solution to change the WSCST (workstation configuration object) to print at 13 CPI again. Any help would be greatly appreciate in helping me resolve this matter.

Answer Wiki:
You might try configuring the TCP printer via a device description with a class of *LAN and specifying a System Driver Program of *HPPJLDRV or *IBMSNMPDRV...and using that instead of the Remote Outq method...it does give you more flexibility with the printer...but not sure if it will solve your problem. Also on the manufacturer make and model, you might try different combinations such as *HP4, *HPIII, etc. to see if that will help.

If you want to try customizing the WSC object with a specific font, there is a pretty good document from IBM.
