I have to convert a VMDK file to VHD but I'm unsure of the process. I already tried Hyper-V but this file is for Azure. Azure says it needs to be a fixed VHD. What should I do?

You may want to look into Microsofts VM conversion kit

Please download/install 2Tware Convert VHD and it can help to convert the same. It is also free to use. One more is Vmdk2Vhd, that can also do the same job (free). However an additional software .NET 2 framework is necessary.
