convert DTF and DTT scripts to RTO
Can anyone, and I cannot stress this enough, Can anyone tell me why I cannot convert Client Access file transfer to replicate in Rumba? in our legacy system we have numerous, but I find it painstakenly (sorry no spell check) difficult to just convert one to work the same way, and when starting from scratch the data does not seem to convert in the same exact way. Please help me, any and all answers are appreciated.

You probably realize this better than anyone. The question might require someone who has recent and significant experience with both Client Access and Rumba file transfers, particularly converting between the two. Potentially, even the versions of the two (and possibly the PC OS) might affect specific settings.

With that in mind, I haven’t seen Rumba for more than 15 years; and I don’t recall reviewing significant details of its transfer scripts back then. So, for me as well as others, can you post a sample script from both? Ideally, the CA script should work as you want.

And please post server OS version, CA version on the PC if it’s different, Rumba version, and the PC OS.

Same here, been prob more than 15 years since I worked with Rumba. Show us what you have and maybe we can figure it out.
