 CONTINUITY IN RPGLE
HI FRIENDS,
My problem is that I want to type a very lengthy IF statement.Afetr typing a part of the IF statement in TN5250 emulator on the first line and when I press enter,it is going to the next line.So please tell me how can I enter the remaining part of the IF statement?

Type the rest of the IF condition on the next line. There may be additional elements depending on what version of RPG this is and whether it is fixed-form or free-form. It might be System/36 RPG II style, System/38 RPG III style, or it might be RPG IV which could be fixed- or free-form. Depending on the version, there might be continuation characters. And the continuation would depend on whether or not the lengthy statement is because of a long condition or excessive indicators. Please provide the IF statement as you have it. Show the first line that you have typed and describe how you want the statement to work. Some form of psuedo-code would be useful. And tell us the kind of RPG that is being used.
